Headquartered in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, BWS was born in 2012 from humble beginnings.

Our founders, Botond and Ed, first met in the US and had the vision to bridge the gap between US unicorn startup projects and Romanian engineers.

Since then, we’ve extended from startups to titans and expanded our reach to the entire EU zone. BWS has been present on the market for 8 years now and our growth has been consistent since then.

From our core of 5 team members, we’ve grown to 120+ remote elite engineers working from where they please and we’re not planning on stopping very soon.
